REQUIREMENTS
- No need to speak a foreign language – just English
- Previous teaching experience highly desirable
- College degree preferred
- Must pass a background check
HOW IT WORKS
- Tutors for the Adult Program receive training to teach English to non-native speakers
- Tutors are trained in teaching methods for online or in classroom settings
- All materials and resources furnished by LVCC
- Tutors for the Children’s Program receive training to work with Pre-K or Kindergarten students
- Tutors are trained and matched with LVCC mentors for up to 4 weeks
- All materials and resources furnished by LVCC
- After training, tutors are matched with student groups to begin their own classes!
